For nearly a month we were pretty much just us three, with the cycle-travel intersections served to us by chance and a little by design.  We dipped our toes in the logistics and methodology for a longer trip (with a 6 year old) and above all enjoyed (though you can have too many noodles).

The trail was easy enough to allow Bryn to ride his own bike mostly off-tarmac for nearly 900km, and having the ability to facilitate progress turned impossibility into the entirely possible.
