If you want the best viewpoint you get up high - so as well as (instead of) clearing leaves from the gutters some telescope action was had :-) #properchildhood #perthhills #westernaustralia #bushfireseason

It being summer here, we’ve moved sleeping outside - where it should always be! The extra lights only for a few more days though.
A week on #flindersisland #travelbybike was a lot better once the wind settled down and our 3-person, 3-bike #lifebybicycle got established. The island is blessed by quiet roads of all surfaces and some great camp spots, beaches and the occasional mountain to climb. @earlyriderbikes @porcelainrocket #ampeirce @towwhee (the secret weapon that gets a 5yo to gladly do 45km on dirt)
#travelinstyle - arriving with 3 bicycles and no trailer for the first time. All in the face of 50-70kph winds, so a sheltered spot to wait it out seemed the best plan! @earlyriderbikes #flindersisland #tasmania #ladybarron
#walkingintherain #caperaoul #tassie #tasmania Not really a day for a view - we were hoping to see #shipsternsbluff in all its glory but couldn’t even see the sea at the bottom of the cliff. #greattobeback :-)
#cyclehiking in southern #westernaustralia just for a place to sleep in between digging sand turtles and other such fun :-). 20” wheels, gears (all 9 of them) and brakes that really really work also part of the joy! @earlyriderbikes #newbike #albany #kidpacking

A diversion on our way back from Invermere to Calgary - guess where?
@porcelainrocket thinking about a spot of #freeride action on the #kloosifer trail, #invermere BC
More #restin in style :-)

#wornout #everyday Living in #westernaustralia these cycle sandals get used continuously as we have a #lifebybike - in winter as they drain water out where shoes just keep it in! They’ve been all I need for #travelbybike too #coloradotrail #canningstockroute #panamericaoffpavement #altrevasur #mundabiddi and many more :-) #keensandals #commutersandal
#whyridewhenyoucanwalk ? Having fun and enjoying our #coloradotrail trip was definitely helped by him cheerfully walking up the steeper hills, but sometimes he just felt like walking downhill too! #tykepacking
#lightmyfire bought in #huaraz over 6 years ago - bit worn, but going strong and so good to have something that works even if it was drenched and means you don’t have to remember to buy matches or a lighter when you arrive somewhere :-). #gearthatworks
#aspeninsummer Last time we came this way it was fall and the hillsides blazed with golden leaves jittering in the breeze. Riding singletrack between the trunk in the shade of green was mesmerising #coloradotrail
#campinghigh #abovetreeline The riding on the #coloradotrail surprised us with its quality and rideability (given my rig), but vying closely for our #favouritething is camping high with views that we’ve earned. #searlepass #whatgoesupmustcomedown #toutterrain #singletrailer #hilleberg #allak.
