While not strictly the first outing since Bryn arrived; today’s was the furthest we’ve been en familia.

The tricycle has allowed Sarah to do more than walk to places locally since Bryn was born – the relaxed seating position and 63 gears mean she can take it as easy as she needs to.
Today was the first of some planned family-time (away from work for a couple of weeks). We felt inspired to head down the coast-hugging cycle paths past Woodman Point. About a 25km loop – so more than the local shops or South Beach – it’s the welcome extending of our out-of-house ‘confidence’.

Bryn’s carefully strapped in, with extra padding in case. Not to mention a careful driver. Timing it well, he sleeps through all of it.

Not much in the bigger scheme of things, but a significant step back to ‘normal’ life again for us. Welcome and very much enjoyed :-)
